The founders, Eric Freedman and Michael Goldberg each have unique skill sets that serve as the foundation of the business. We want you to be comfortable and confident that we have the “right stuff” to partner with you for your financial success.

Meet the principles:

Eric W. Freedman, CPA

Eric has been a principle of Freedman & Goldberg, CPAs, P.C. since its inception in 1982. He specializes in management advisory services, business start-up, business restructuring, litigation support, and corporate and individual taxes. He has lectured to law firms and brokerage houses on a number of subjects including tax and related topics.

Eric is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and the Michigan Association of CPAs. He holds a B.B.A. in Accounting from Eastern Michigan University.

Michael Goldberg, CPA

Michael is a principle in the firm. He has been practicing since 1975 and specializes in taxes, investment and real estate. He has lectured on those topics and also published several articles on tax and real estate, some which have appeared in National Public Accountant and Taxes-The Tax Magazine.

Michael is a member of the American Institute of CPA’s and the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accounts. He earned his degree in accounting from Eastern Michigan University.
